European Regional Sales Manager – Optical Transceivers

We are looking for a European Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth, working with customers in the telecommunications and data centre industries. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business, managing key accounts, and ensuring strong customer relationships to drive repeat business. You will take ownership of your region, setting ambitious sales targets, tracking progress, and delivering outstanding results.

A strong technical understanding of optical transceivers and fibre optic networking solutions is essential, as you will need to provide expert insights to customers and answer technical inquiries. You will also stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to keep us ahead of the curve. Managing relationships with distributors and resellers will be a key part of the role, working strategically to expand market reach. Pricing negotiations and profitability considerations will also be within your remit, requiring strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

To succeed in this role, you must have a proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within optical networking, telecoms, or fibre optic components. You will be an excellent communicator with strong negotiation skills, capable of building relationships at all levels, from engineers to senior executives. A strategic mindset, self-motivation, and a results-driven attitude will be key to thriving in this role.
