Credit Controller
Credit Controller | £28,000 – £30,000 | Ware
I’m currently working with a highly regarded energy business based in Ware who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller.
The role offers the chance to be part of a business that’s genuinely making a difference – supporting customers in managing their energy accounts while promoting sustainability.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts, predominantly domestic
- Chasing outstanding debt through calls and other communication methods
- Arranging payment plans and setting up Direct Debits
- Supporting customers in understanding and managing their energy usage and billing
- Liaising with internal teams to resolve account and billing issues
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in Credit Control is essential
- Experience within the utilities or energy industry is highly desirable
- Strong numeracy and communication skills
- Excellent Excel proficiency
- Adaptable, tenacious, and confident working independently or as part of a small team
- Customer service experience is a plus
The Details:
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (1-hour lunch)
- Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 p.a.
