Estimator – Civils (Rail Preferred) | Up to £50K + £6K Car Allowance + Benefits
�� Location: Nottingham, Manchester or Leeds
�� Salary: Up to £50,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance + Health Insurance + Gym Membership
Are you an experienced Estimator with a background in civil engineering? Do you have experience in the rail sector or similar industries such as highways, utilities, or infrastructure? If so, we want to hear from you!
  
The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you will:
✅ Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects
✅ Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure competitive and viable pricing
✅ Analyse project specifications, drawings, and tender documents
✅ Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
✅ Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
  
What We’re Looking For:
✔ Proven experience in civil engineering estimating (rail preferred but not essential)
✔ Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of construction methodologies
✔ Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts
✔ Excellent communication and negotiation skills
✔ Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
