About the Role
Are you an experienced Hardware Engineer looking for a new challenge with a reputable vehicle security solutions business? We are recruiting for a skilled Hardware Engineer to join the team and control their hardware product portfolio, staying on top of any industry advancements.
Key Responsibilities
·Oversee helpdesk tickets from start to finish, collaborating with multiple departments to ensure timely and effective solutions.
·Visit customer sites to assess their needs and resolve complex technical issues.
·Design and deliver technical training programs for engineers and customers to ensure proper product usage and understanding.
·Provide onboarding and technical support to customers, ensuring they are well-equipped to use our products.
·Develop in-depth expertise in our hardware and associated software products, becoming the primary resource for product knowledge.
·Showcase product features and benefits to clients, partners, and internal teams to promote product adoption and customer satisfaction.
·Perform hands-on testing of CCTV systems, 4G routers, and VMS software to troubleshoot and identify issues.
·Monitor market trends and emerging technologies, recommending new products for our portfolio or suggesting improvements to existing ones.
About You
- Strong passion, curiosity, and expertise in hardware roles, ideally within the electronics or tech industry. Experience with CCTV or networking / telecommunications is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent at engaging in technical discussions, asking insightful questions, and challenging ideas to achieve optimal results.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly adapt to new software tools.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
- A degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
