The Role:
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a key role in financial compliance, reporting, and process improvements. Responsibilities include:
- Statutory Accounts & Tax Management – Oversee statutory accounts submission and work with external tax consultants and corporate tax teams.
- Audit & Compliance – Liaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring audit requests are met.
- Month-End & Reconciliations – Manage reconciliations and ensure accurate submissions in OneStream.
- Treasury & Payments – Monitor bank balances and support payment processes in collaboration with corporate treasury.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualifications: ACA or ACCA (minimum), with experience in tax and audit.
- Experience: 3+ years post-qualification experience in a similar finance role.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Corporation Tax, VAT, Income Tax, and statutory reporting.
- Systems & Tools: Excel proficiency required; experience with JDE ERP or similar systems is desirable.
- Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
