We’re looking for a Category Manager to lead the procurement of critical components for the manufacturing of EV charging stations. You’ll be responsible for sourcing items such as:
- Contactors and relays
- DC busbars and AC/DC transformers
- Power semiconductors (IGBTs and MOSFETs)
- Cable harnesses and HV cabling
- Capacitors and inductors
- Cooling systems (fans, heat sinks, and pumps)
- Connectors, terminals, and enclosures
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for electrical components critical to EV charging station production.
- Identify and build relationships with suppliers globally, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, manage supplier performance, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure components meet technical and quality standards.
- Monitor industry trends, innovations, and regulatory requirements to future-proof the supply chain.
- Drive cost optimisation and supply chain efficiency while ensuring on-time delivery.

- Proven experience in procurement or category management within the electrical or manufacturing sector, ideally in EV charging, automotive, or energy systems.
- Strong understanding of high-power electrical components and systems.
- Skilled in supplier management, negotiation, and contract management.
